• NOSE ART PANEL- Fifinella, Women Airforce Service Pilots NAP-0130

Fifinella was a female gremlin designed by Walt Disney for a proposed film from Roald Dahl's book The Gremlins. During World War II, the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) asked permission to use the image as their official mascot, and the Disney Company granted them the rights.

Hand painted on .020 riveted aircraft aluminum. Patterned from the starboard nose of a B-17 Flying Fortress. Measures 29" X 29" with window cutout, rivets. Makes a distinctive gift for that special aviator in your life or for your “pilot cave.” These panels are hand crafted and may vary slightly from one to another.
